I definitely prefer salon products to generic brands Hair care products are extremely important as they help you look good, which in turn makes you feel good. Some of my favorite products are the regis line and paul mitchell.
ReplyDeleteI prefer salon products but it's not in my budget most time. It seems ridiculous to me to spend $20 on shampoo.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! You can get great products for as low as $5.00 and ones up to $50.00. There are a ton of options for clients to choose from. I do strongly suggest that if you are going to a Salon to at least consider what your Stylist recommends. He or she has a good sense of what works best with your hair. Men might be able to get away with it just a little more than women can simply because of the normal length for guys.
ReplyDeleteOk...Once Again...My hair is like precious fabric...you wouldn't use harsh detergent on your silk blouse!....you have to treat it w/special care!...that's why i always buy my shampoos,conditioners,& styling aids from a professional salon!...i always listen to what my highly educated stylist recommends!...they know best!
ReplyDeleteI prefer lighter botanical products for my hair. My stylist recommended and uses the Phyto line of products. I've used them for years.
ReplyDeleteI was using for years products from the supermarkets and recently started to use Alterna shampoo's ans Conditioners.. and I have to say, Isabella, you are correct... I will NEVER return to harsh laundry detergent, my hair has never looked better, and I don't even need to spend a lot of money on products, because my hair does it's "natural" thing just with the Shampoo and Conditioner!

ReplyDeleteYou can get great quality conditioners for a great price these days, however Salon products tend to be a bit expensive depending on the line. Most of the better products you will find are mostly in Salons.
